Bato was born August 28, 1980 in Berane, Montenegro. In 1996, at the age of 16, Bato signed his first professional contract with the Berane, a 2nd division Team of Montenegro.
Bato played with that team for 3 years and during that time he was named MVP 3 consecutive years. Bato also played for the National Team of Montenegro beginning U16 thru U18. In 2001 Bato would travel to the United States to take a position with the Milwaukee Rampage and was also called in to play for the United States League's Under 21 team in Portugal.
In 2006. Bato was named MVP of American Indoor Soccer League bagging 25 goals and dishing out 23 assists. He also led the Rockford Rampage to the 2007 Championship. Bato takes pride in every player he brings to the field.
On and off the field he enjoys watching them grow into young men and women of character. Currently still playing indoor soccer and very recognized athlete in the U.S. as a member of the US National Futsal Team.
